EDUCATION COMMISSION - The
Education Commission develops, defines, and promotes
the implementation of policies that govern the operation of educational
programs of the parish. The members of the commission include the
Pastor, School Principal, Religious Education Director, and eleven (11)
parishioners who are elected by the members of the parish. Four members
are elected annually and serve for a three-year term. Meetings are held on
the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Rectory Meeting
Room. Activities include taking part in the annual Fall Bazaar, spaghetti
dinner; hosting one evening of the annual Lenten Soup and Bread Supper;
supporting the Catholic Enrichment Series at St. Bernard; nominating
potential candidates for the commission;participating in the annual Parish
Picnic; establishing and supporting short and long-term goals set by the
commission; and supporting the annual Christmas Wreath Drive.
